  • 1. 700 metric tons unprocessed waste is generated every day in city.
  • 2. KDMC has now come out with a rule to prevent overloading the dumping ground in Adharwadi, in Kalyan any new housing societies above 2000 sqmeter will have to dispose off its garbage within their premises.
  • 3. Dry waste to be given to scrap dealer and will have to compost the wet Garbage.
  • 4. Waste to energy projects companies are welcome with their projections and tenders are invited.
  • 5. focus on biogas plants at various location in city to tackle the wet Waste issues.
